“Fastest Woman on Four Wheels” Jessi Combs Dies in Land-Speed Record Crash At Only 36!!

Wow, we bring you sad news, “Fastest Woman on Four Wheels” Jessi Combs Dies in Land-Speed Record Crash At Only 36!!

Some know her as racer, some know her as a daredevil some know her as a fabricator but we in the automotive world all knew and respected her.

Tragically while attempting to break the land speed record for the fastest woman on four wheels that she had set back in 2013, she was killed in a crash in southeast Oregon.

She was actually able to reach 483.227 mph last October in the jet-powered North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger, but sadly she was unable to perform the second run in the opposite direction as it is required due to mechanical problems.

Yesterday was going to be the day that she pushed her record close to the 500 mph barrier (her 2013 record was 398mph) instead she took her last ride, up to heaven.

She inspired many women to enter the male dominated world of motorsport and for that she will always remain a role-model to them.
