Check this Gearhead Granny Rippin Gears in her ’69 Fairlane Cobra 428ci, Owned for 48 years!!!
While most of the other ladies her age sit home and knit, Sue likes to do much more on the weekend than sit in her rocking chair, she likes getting in her 1969 Fairlane Cobra and drive around the US in order to get to the next drag strip that is on the schedule, and rip some tires to shreds.
She has been the proud owner of this vehicle since 1972, and for nearly half a century she has been taking it to race tracks and drag strips in order to put it thru its paces.
This Fairlane has a 428 under the hood which is matched up with a four speed transmission which might not be ideal for the dragstrip, but apparently Sue has no complaints about it and she just keeps slamming down thru the gears on this thing.
