Today’s video covers a real tragedy that has hit Kye Kelley pretty badly and left him devastated and sad.
During the filming of America’s List, Kye Kelley and the rest of the NOLA team decided that they need more NOLA guys on the list for them to help each other as the other big teams did, and to make sure and do that, they needed to get David Gates and his RedRum turbo Mustang thru the “race your way in” rule.
However, there was a slight problem. All the cars that were there to race their way in were extremely fast and consistent and some were even legendary like Shawn Ellington’s Murder Nova.
That meant that they needed a sure win and the best way to get it was of course using the old faithful Shocker, Kye Kelley’s pride and joy.
These guys were so adamant on the fact that the Shocker is going straight as an arrow that they skipped a very important part of every race preparation, walking the road.
This is something that Kye Kelley has done for the first time, not walking the road that he is going to send the Shocker and we are pretty sure that it will be the last.
While trying to perform their test hit in a hurry they missed the fact that there was some tree sap on the road which in turn caused the tires to lose grip violently fast and sent the Shocker rolling end over end many times totaling it in the process.
There are no words to explain the state that the Shocker is so the best we can say is to check out the video and see it for yourself, but don’t worry, Kye Kelley promises that every piece of the Shocker that has not been damaged, will live on in a brand new Shocker that he will build.
